About me…

I’ve lived in Gander since 1995. My wife Yvonne is co-owner of the Golden Scissors salon in Gander for over 30 years and we have a 20 year old daughter Rachel. I also have a daughter Nadine who lives in CBS with her husband Andrew and 2 daughters, Eva and Iris.

I graduated valedictorian of Roncalli High School, Avondale, in 1980 and attended Memorial University in 1981.

I have over 40 years of sales and business management experience. I currently work as Executive Director/General Manager of a large automotive dealership in Gander.

Community Involvement…

2011 to 2014... I was on the Gander Academy school council where I was a strong advocate for the redevelopment of Gander Academy and construction of a new school, Gander Elementary, in Gander.

2016 - 2018... I was a member of St. Paul’s Intermediate School Council.

2016 - 2022... I was very involved with The Gander Lakers as a volunteer whenever needed whether working in the canteen, or officiating at swim meets.

2012 - 2015... I was a strong community advocate pushing for resolution of issues with the old sewage treatment facility and pushing to fast track construction of a new facility. I regularly voiced concerns on open line, was interviewed by the Gander Beacon, CBC Radio, and NTV News.
